The Shun Classic 7 in. Santoku knife is made with 69 layers of Damascus cladding for premium cutting performance, durability, easier food release and eye-catching beauty. Its double-bevel, flat-ground blade glides through food. The Pakka wood handle is D-shaped and provides a comfortable grip while reducing wrist strain during cutting. This knife is the ideal knife for people who have large quantities of food to do.
The Santoku Shun Classic knife is a multitasking knife that can be used to slice, mince and chop vegetables and slice meat.
It is also particularly useful for cuts of raw fish with rich flesh (salmon and trout) or fragile fruits and vegetables (cherry tomatoes, strawberries), because the knife have air pockets or indentations whose purpose is to reduce resistance & adhesion of the food to the blade.
