Which shaver should I choose?

You want to buy a new shaver, but you don’t know the benefits and features of each brand and you would like some advice? Nothing could be easier! Copy these few questions into an e-mail and sent it to comments@cdrem.com. We will be pleased to suggest a few models.

1. Have you ever used an electric shaver? If yes, which brand was it? Were you satisfied?

2. How much do you want to spend?

3. Do you have a heavy beard? An average beard? Or, is it more like fuzz?

4. Do you shaver every day or do you let it grow a bit between shavings?

5. Do you have sensitive skin or do you suffer from pimple outbreaks?

6. Are you one to regularly take care of your things or do you not have a lot of time for such tasks?

What are your terms for on-line sales

SHIPPING : If www.personaledge.com has your items in stock, we will send you a notice by e-mail confirming that your items were shipped, and that we have accepted your order. Any order for items that are in stock are usually shipped within three (3) business days when delivered by a courier or a transport company; and within 4 to 8 days when orders are picked up in a store. Orders in which there may be a back-ordered item will be shipped when such an item is received at the distribution centre. Once the products are shipped an electronic shipping message will be sent. Your order will be confirmed when the shipping notice has been sent to your e-mail address.

We reserve the right to limit quantities available for sale or sold as well as the right to reject, correct, cancel or terminate any order for whatever reason. If the price of any product bought on our Web site is wrong when ordering, we will give you the opportunity to make another order at the correct price. Advertisements on our website are invitations to make offers to purchase products or services on the website and do not commit us to sell these products and services. Your order duly filled in and submitted constitutes your offer to purchase products or services included in the order. Your order will be confirmed when the shipping notice has been sent to your e-mail address.

The shipping notice sent by e-mail indicates that we have accepted your order and constitutes a legally valid contract with Groupe CDREM, which operates Personal Edge, Centre du Rasoir, www.centredurasoir.comand www.personaledge.com. The total cost of your order is charged to your credit card account or to your Paypal account when the shipping notice is sent to your e-mail address.

Should you wish to cancel an order, you may do so by calling 514-636-4512. However, it may be possible that we do not receive or process your request to cancel the order before accepting and shipping your order, in which case your cancellation request would not be valid.

If, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with a product that you have bought, we will be happy to offer a refund or an exchange, if you return the product to any Personal Edge/Centre du Rasoir store within 14 days after receiving the product (30 days for electric/rechargeable shavers and epilators) in its original state (except for electric/rechargeable shavers for which we offer a trial period of 30 days). For practical reasons, we also accept returns by courier/mail. Please call 514-636-4512 for the procedure for returning product by courier/mail. Your electronic invoice is required for any return in store or by courier/mail. If a product is not returned with all the packaging material, instruction manuals and accessories, as well as any blank warranty cards and other articles, the return may be refused or we may deduct the value of any missing element. Any shipping charges will not be refunded. However, we will refund initial shipping charges, if you return any article due to a shipping error on our part or if we determine that the product is defective.

We use the information that you supply through our website, including the registration information (name and e-mail address), payment information (credit card number and expiry date) and the information on the registration. These must be truthful, exact and up-to-date. You will be held entirely responsible for any losses, damages and additional costs incurred by yourself, ourselves or any other persons should you have given inexact or incomplete information or should you have failed to update the information pertaining to your registration or to the payment within 30 days of having modified any of this information.
Which methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Paypal and credit cards. In both cases, we never see your credit card number or your banking information. We only receive the authorization confirming the payment.
I have an e-check? Do you accept these?

We do not accept e-checks, unless issued through Paypal. Please note that we will ship your order until the e-check has cleared and we have been notified by Paypal. This may take up to ten (10) days.
May I send you a cheque or a bank draft to pay for my order?

Unfortunately, we do not accept cheques, money orders or bank drafts as methods of payment.
Can I order on line and pick up my purchase in one of your stores?

We are happy to offer the possibility of picking up your order in one of our Personal Edge?Centre du Rasoir stores. We will not invoice you for the shipping charges.

Confidential information

Will my personal information remain confidential?

We never see your credit card. We receive an authorisation notice from Paypal or from the payment service once the payment is made.
Do you have a Privacy Policy?

Is my on-line purchase secure?

Not only do we use the most sophisticated methods of payment available for on-line transactions, but we never see your credit card or banking information.

Personal Edge will only collect information that is pertinent and necessary to manage your relationship with us. We will limit the collection and use of personal information to that which is required for valid business purposes, or to comply with legislation.
If I buy from you, do you automatically rsubscribe me to a mailing list?

We do not automatically send advertising or promotional e-mails to our customers. When you make a purchase, you have the choice to subscribe to our mailing list. You may also subscribe to our newsletter by clicking on the link displayed on each page of our site. A link to unsubscribe will also be featured on each e-mail that we will send to you.

Problem with the product/Shipping problems

I've received my order, but I'm not satisfied

Sometimes, you may wish to return an item. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please refer to our return policy to determine the return period and the conditions for your product.

Please send an e-mail to web@cdrem.com indicating that you wish to return your purchase.

We will send you a Return Authorization number. Please allow two (2) business days to receive the number.

Refunds will be credited to the same method of payment used for the purchase.

The customer is responsible for the return shipping fees. If the product is not returned in its original state or does not meet the conditions stipulated for the return, it may be refused and reshipped to the consumer. Please note that shipping fees to return an item will be the consumer's responsibility.
Can I return my purchase to one of your stores?

No, all on-line purchases must be returned to our distribution centre.
My product no longer works, but is still under warranty. What can I do?

We can help you get a warranty service rapidly. Personal Edge/Centre du Rasoir stores are authorized service centres for most products that we sell. If there are no stores near you, please refer to the manufacturer's website to find the nearest servivce centre.

Return policy

What is your return policy for a product bought on line?

Our goal is to completely satisfy any and all customers buying our merchandise on-line. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please send an-email to web@cdrem.com stating that you wish to return your purchase. A Return Merchandise Authorisation number will be sent to you. Please note that it will take approximately two business days to send you the RMA number. Simply return the product in the same condition that you received it, namely in its original packaging, with all manuals, accessories, blank warranty cards, packing slip and invoice. Original shipping charges may not be refunded. Returns may be made up to 30 (thirty) days following purchase. Returns will be credited back to the original method of payment. Damages on home-delivered items must be reported within 24 hours. The customer will be responsible for return shipping charges. Should the product not be returned in its original condition, the product may be refused and returned to the consumer. Any product bought online cannot be returned to any Personal Edge or Centre du Rasoir store.

Important notice: Products from Saeco, Dannyco, Babyliss and automatic espresso machines must be unused. Parts and special orders cannot be returned.
